It might be confusing as to why people get their windows cleaned, especially if you have never had them done before. Here are some examples as to why people choose to have their windows washed:
Daily Use: clear windows make it easier to enjoy the nature and wildlife on the other side
Special Occasions: holidays, birthday/graduation parties, BBQs, reunions, etc.
Maintenance: this is recommended to help make sure your windows stay clean and for longer
Energy Costs: clean windows allow more sunlight through, which can save you money in the winter
Initial Transformation: the before to after can be very satisfying experience for home owners who have become accustomed to dirty windows
The cost for window washing can vary widely, but the majority of homes fall be anywhere from $150-$500. This is dependent on how many windows you have, the amount of stories in your house, and also how hard your windows are to reach and/or to clean. If you have many windows that are difficult to reach and/or clean--including decorative/intricate windows, remenants of construction/adhesives, or other outside causes that are harder to remove--the service will typically cost more. Ultimately, the price will vary quite a bit from home to home, but you can look at the chart below to get an idea of what the average cost of window washing might be based on the size of your house.
With all the different factors involved in pricing window washing services, we understand it can be confusing. This is why we offer free quotes online (through images of your house's exterior) and in person for everyone who resides in south Washington County. For those who live in surrounding areas, including north Washington County (above I94), there may be a fee for in-person quotes due to the commute.
This chart shows different ranges of the average cost to have your windows professionally washed in America based on house size. While it is not specific to the number of windows in each house, it does give a general idea of pricing for this service. My services usually end up on the cheaper end of these ranges, but I can only provide an accurate price through a custom quote for your house.
Currently, we accept payments by both cash and card. Please note that there is a 4% service fee for debit and credit card payments. We do not accept checks.
Yes, we do offer screen cleaning for an additional cost. The price of screen cleaning is comprised of both a small fee for transporting and dis/assembling the extra screen cleaning equipment, as well as an extra $2.50-$5 charge per screen. For most homes, this fee will end up being somewhere between $50-$150 in addition to the window washing quote. Please note that your home must have an outdoor water source with a hose attached if you would like to get your screens cleaned, since that is what our equipment requires.
We offer a $25 discount for anyone who refers someone to us. Once the service for the referred client is completed, the client who referred them to us will receive $25 off their next service. These are one-time discounts per referred client, but if you refer more than one client to us, the discount stacks for each initial completed service.
